About Me

Craig and Steph

My name is Stephanie and I am a Registered and Licensed dietitian in East Texas as well as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.  I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, sports (watching and playing), cooking/baking, and of course eating.  I consider myself a realistic dietitian and enjoy all kinds of foods.  I do not restrict myself from any foods that I crave!  I tend to enjoy foods and not regret what I eat.  If you want to know more about what I think about diets and foods, please check out my Food Philosophy page.

My passion for nutrition, food, and fitness began when I was in high school.  That’s when I became more aware of food and how it affected my body.  As I would dissect recipes and scrutinize food labels, I began to look at food in a completely different way. I recently obtained my personal training certificate and enjoy helping others through exercise!

I graduated from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) with my Bachelors of Science degree in dietetics.  I then went on to obtain my Dietetic Registration and Licensure.  I am here to help others who need tools and motivation to help them discover that having a healthy life while eating what they want is not as difficult as it seems.

    Steph – so need your help!! Do you have any hints or plans for someone who travel for a living and doesn’t have the “right” food available? I used to travel with my fitness clothes but when you entertain customers at night by the time you get back to my room, there is no way I’m hitting the exercise room. I know that food is he key.. any hints you can share with me?
